Znc Installation in Darkshell[edit | edit source]

Its really easy to install ZNC in out shell. All you got to do login to your shell and type getznc

It will compile znc without issuing many commands and will ask you to following, this section is for connecting port SSL, IPV4 or IPV6 activation also it will as you for your username and password. You also can run from this installation process installation.

Compile znc from source[edit | edit source]

If you want to compile znc from source as a root or non-root user, follow the following instruction

1)Download the latest source tarball

2) tar -xzvf znc-1.8.2.tar.gz

3) cd znc-1.8.2

4) ./configure --prefix="$HOME/your-znc-folder"

5) make

6) make install

7) ******************************************************************

ZNC was successfully installed.

You can use '/home/shell/rambo/znc/bin/znc --makeconf'

to generate a config file.
